I recommend ordering one size smaller

I love this water vest. I'm 5ft 7in, 175lbs, 42.5in bust. After reading the reviews I decided to take the advice and order a size down so I bought the medium size. It was a good decision. sweaty, it opened up and I had to tighten it, I can't stand anything bouncy and after a few miles I've barely noticed I'm wearing it.
