Sometimes I work in the freezer and I have to stretch my hands to grab objects, use the scanner, and enter information with one touch. The supplied work gloves are too bulky for me to safely pick up objects or operate the scanner. As a result, I kept dropping the stylus. This pair keeps my palms warm enough for me to use the scanner and touchscreen with ease. When my fingers get cold, I use mittens. My thumbs can be balled into fists to keep warm. My chores require me to get out of the freezer every 20-30 minutes to keep my hands from getting numb. This pair is not for someone who needs to stay in the freezer for an hour.
