Review on πŸͺ“ Norton Metalite 80 Grit Sanding Discs - Pack of 25, 12" Diameter, Cotton Backing PSA Discs with Aluminum Oxide by Keith Saywon

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Dangerously poor adhesive quality

Bought specifically for the Norton brand. They have had good experiences with their grinding products in the past. Heavy grit holds up well, but adhesion to the grinding wheel is VERY poor. In fact, one of the discs broke off the platter at high speed and flew into my (prescription) glasses, leaving deep scratches on the lens that would cost $140 to replace. So if you decide to buy it, I recommend cleaning the plate. Use alcohol or other solvent and spray adhesive to attach the wheel to the grinder to avoid injury to yourself or others in your workshop.
