My gateway laptop 15.6 inch screen LG LP156WH1 (TL) (C1) is broken, I wanted to turn it into a monitor with AV input so my kids can watch movies in the car, it should fit right in between the 2 front seats and a portable. I found this controller board with AV input on the Revain, shot in the dark because there are many controller boards, specifically I have a 30 pin connector. The box came quickly from Prime, well packed, everything, the cables are connected to the motherboard. All I needed was to plug in the 30 pin LCD connector and power the backlight. I found a 12V block with a 2A output, plugged it in and the screen was black until I turned around Select the correct input on the power supply and the screen comes up perfectly. Astonishing. I've never had to adjust the brightness. Can hide everything except power and video input.
