Review on Tunze Comline Internal Filter 3162.000 by Dawn Miranda

I bought Tunze Filter, Protein Skimmer and Auto Top-off based on comments and ratings on Revain and other websites and am very disappointed. Magnetic mounts on filters and skimmer do not hold. Don't hold the magnets, they hold. Only the brackets they are attached to are useless. They fall off the filter and slide easily into the aquarium. I had to use aquarium silicone as the glue to attach the mounts to both the filter and skimmer. And the wiring of a self-priming pump is a godsend. The water level drops and the pump does not turn on. I have to move the cables to start the pump. The protein skimmer didn't do any degreasing after 6 weeks and then pumped water all over my floor. Now it's in the trash and filter for private sale at a big discount. Don't waste your money on Tunze products.
