Review on 🔩 Precision Steel 1-2-3 Blocks BL-123 - Pair of 1x2x3 Inch Blocks by Balakrishna Monzon

Didn't expect this quality at this price. I ordered them primarily for a "racquet set" that I plan to use at work for things like bolting Destaco clamps to makeshift jigs, rough work, and general abuse that doesn't bother you with an expensive pair of 1-2-3 -want to stick paired blocks. , and would be satisfied if they were within a few thousand of the nominal sizes. Out of curiosity I decided to test them in a breadboard lab and they are close to tolerance for matching kits costing several dozen times what I paid for them. The test was conducted in an environment and on equipment used in accordance with ASME Y14.5 standards in the automotive industry. The worst spot I found when checking for parallelism, squareness, flatness, overall dimensions, and differences between the two blocks was a depression in the center of one of the 2x3" faces of a block that measured 0.00012" or less . Depth in an area roughly the size and shape of a thumbprint Some things I wasn't able to check today were hardness, surface profile and steel grade, but from the looks of it I think they're probably of good quality there as well. They were in thin cardboard and wrapped in oiled paper but I am thinking of making a nice wooden box for them and then certifying them that they are indeed working to tolerances when the hardness is the same as the rest. I will order more soon.
