You really need a glowing light on the top of your tank, pointing down, to amplify the glow of these rocks. The rest of the glow is normal. In addition, they are very light. Therefore, they swim easily and change location. The company gives you a very good amount of glowstones, I would say mine came with a rating of about 30.
