I originally bought one of these to free up space on my kitchen counter to an RV, but the price was reasonable so I went ahead and did it. I'm very glad I did. It went into my top cabinets easily and held up with no problems. Mind you, once they get stuck, they get stuck. It's great, when they are raised but if you make a mistake oh BOY!The only real downside is that the knife slots (there are 7 total) only add one for a wider blade and I have 2-5" Santoku knife I loved it enough to buy a second unit to fix this problem.
