Bought these for my 10 year old daughter when she went to a week long exciting day camp full of hiking, swimming, zip lining, lazy river, running games and even silent activities like skits, art etc. So we needed a versatile half-tennis, half-sandal shoe like this that would be quick on and off for both water and land activities. We wanted a higher quality shoe/sandal than one of those shoes you find at Walmart, Target or your local shoe store. The product arrived on time. These shoes are visually and haptically superior. I wish it had a heel brace with velcro for adjustment but what they had worked. My daughter got it out on the first day, and immediately in camp the bungee cord, like shoelaces, that they had to build in the ghetto to hold them together broke. Disappointing because the rest of the shoe is great. The next day the other laces broke, and she didn't pull too hard, just broke during class. I can understand the breakdown after a few months of wearing, but a day or two, disappointment. The shoes are great. High quality shoes. But when you buy shoes, I would advise you to buy your own laces, because the original laces are weak and will break when you play sports.
