I will gift this to this little welder. When I unpacked it, it looked like a toy. I got it out, glued some little beads onto an old fence post, and took it to town. I had a 3/32 6011. My car was plugged into a 110 volt outlet and I set it at about 85 amps. From what I understand, these particular welders read a lot. I finished the job, flipped the parts over and got the penetration. This is not suitable for a beginner as he has a weak ark and it is difficult to hit the ark with a cold staff. If you're a pro, start laughing now, it won't measure up to what you need. If you have a little work here and there (light work) and we have enough experience, you can handle this little welder. I haven't tried running the 6010 so I can't say if it can run it or not, many people say it can't. And I forgot to mention that I was welding flat bar, Ts, 1/8" mild steel. For the money, what you get from this little machine really can't be beat.
