Keyboard Fatigue Reduction

TL;DR: Games? I don't know, never mind. Do you want to improve your keyboard experience with Cherry key switches? Obtain. I type a lot and have killed cheap keyboards within 6-12 months in the past. I'm tired of wasting money and filling landfills with broken keyboards, so I decided to build a keyboard that lasts. After considering what I like and hate about keyboards and what lasts the longest, I bought a mechanical keyboard (Eagletec ET-KG010-N) with cherry blue color switches and custom keycaps (YMDK ANSI/ISO in vintage grey/beige). . That's exactly what I like to type on. Once I've warmed up, I can get up to 80 WPM and beyond. The problem is that my fingers hurt after several long days. Eventually I hit my mate, and the rebound of the key as it hit the bottom took its toll on my old fingers. Installing these o-rings was very easy. Using a key puller (or a butter knife and lots of patience), pull the cap out, place the o-ring on the cap's center pin (see picture) and press into place. Lather, rinse, repeat until all buttons are done. It would be easier if I bought the keycaps and o-rings together, but oh well. Adding O-rings to the keys reduced the impact at the end of the key travel and shortened the key travel slightly (0.2mm). , and let me accelerate a little. Also, the keyboard became quieter and my wife can no longer hear me typing across the house. As a result, I've assembled the second most comfortable keyboard I've ever used, after the Northgate Omnikey Ultra. I had 30 years ago. This was due to a slight difference between the ALPS keyswitches in Northgate and the Cherry Blues in my current one. I'm a lucky tourist!
