When you pay crab and lobster at today's prices, it's worth spending a few extra dollars on these tools. They are very durable and make shrimp chewing more of a pleasure than a chore. I like the non-slip grip. I only wish these crackers had a blade piece that cuts more like scissors to help with nice cuts of crab legs or smaller pieces of shell. The rounded shape of the blade is particularly useful in areas with large armor and claws. The only issue I had was that the locking mechanism sometimes closed while using the tool and had to be repeatedly released to continue using it. All in all this is a great product.
