Review on Nikwax Leather Waterproofing Wax, 3.4 oz by Amy Mcleod

Just got my tube of Nikwax and used them straight away in my new pair of Rough Stones that I intend to use every day for barn work. I work full time with horses and my boots are always walking in an incredible amount of mud and water. I am very happy with the ease of use of this product. I used the wax very generously, carefully smearing it over the seams and creases. This made it a bit difficult to buff the product in those areas (the light color of the product showed through the stitching of my dark boots), but it was worth the extra effort to ensure the stitching was well protected. I even took a chance and used the product on the elastic fabric parts of the boot to see if I could make the ones that are a bit more water resistant and I think it worked really well! After polishing the product, I immediately dipped the toe of the shoe under water and it started immediately. I am very satisfied with this product!
