Unassembled furniture under $100 is always a risk. It's either very good, or it starts to break down after a while. or sometimes during assembly. It's not like that here! WOW, I was surprised to find that these tables are made out of real wood (I mean it could be veneer) with quite a bit of craftsmanship (I can stand on it with no issues) and a pretty solid build. It's in our "man cave" and everything from bourbon to hot sauce has been spilled on it. After over a year the stain and polish are still in great shape and cleaned like new. As others have said, it's quite a red color for an "espresso" finish, but I didn't mind.
