I don't know the real names of the watch parts but when I took it out of the box I had to use a pair of small needle nose pliers to remove the small connector. And then I immediately tried to pull the dial sideways to set the watch and it all came out of the watch. I put it back in, still horrified that my new purchase broke and it works and everything seems fine. I'm 6'3", 269 lbs. I have a slightly muscular build and wrists that are larger than normal people. The watch strap is too big for my wrist. Now I have to go to the jeweler and remove the links.
