You get what you pay for
The metal is very brittle. I bought this to replace the more expensive bunny style corkscrews as the ones I've bought break over time. On first use the metal warped and bent when trying to pull the cork out of the bottle. I'm a bartender and have used many of these in the past with no problems. This particular one was just crazy really cheap and didn't last long. Not at all happy with the purchase.
