Well I got this when my son was about 12lbs which I think is the lowest for my height. He was huge. He's 17 pounds now and his neck is still big enough that I'm a little uncomfortable, but then again he doesn't move or roll over when he sleeps, so that's fine. 25 lbs, it's that big BUT I don't think I'd want him to wear it if he can move and roll for fear it might get stuck/choke/etc somehow. Quality is good, fleece after that Wash soft and warm. I'd say go down a size and you'll be fine, but don't use it on a bed that moves while you sleep!
