Good for keeping carpets clean and wear free. My issue is that when it was packaged it was folded in half and then rolled up - so half the runner curves up and the other half curves down, with a large crease sticking out in the middle. It's easy to trip over, might need to be pinned down but I try to stay away from it (hardwood under the carpet which we want to keep in good condition). I try to fold each section in the opposite direction it was packed with little result, plus there are still creases. As a side note - due to a tripping issue I tried this at my desk with a wheeled office chair on carpet. It's too thin for an office wheelchair.
