Review on πŸ”Έ SIRIUSLED RLS 7440 7440A: Hyper Flashing Resistor LED Bulb, Amber Orange Color, Error-Free - Pack of 2 by Will Rahman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits 2019 Honda Civic Sport (Front & Rear) (Read Updates)

Bulb overheats like the LASFIT turn signals. Installation is easy, like any other lamp. During the test, the lamp was significantly brighter compared to standard halogen. I turned on my dangers for about 5 minutes to see how hot they could get. They were quite hot when touched, but not boiling hot, which I think would happen if you left your finger on them for more than 2 seconds. And YES, they worked for both front and rear. However, the hyperflash only occurred when the start/stop button was pressed twice to turn on the lights and accessories, but not the engine. After the engine started, there were no problems. Incidentally, super bright at night, almost on the verge of glare, but for me that's a plus. Will be updated when hyper firmware or durability issues occur. In general, the product is completely satisfied. (updates below) Update 1: One about hyperflashing They don't seem to hyperflash while driving in normal use, but I've noticed that they seem to hyperflash when they get too hot or when you use them for a long time (or or) . I tested this at home by switching on the hazard warning lights for 5 minutes and signaling both sides separately after switching them off. Immediately both sides hyperflare, flicker at normal speed, then revert to hyperflare. What surprised me the most was that they flashed normally when I put them back into danger/emergency mode, but hyper-flashed when turned on one at a time. So the lightbulb doesn't seem to work properly when it gets too hot. I would be grateful if the company could get in touch and find a solution to this problem. Update 2: Hyperflashing cont. The bulbs appear to run at full power for about 1 minute 40 seconds (tested in hot weather ** 1992). degrees Fahrenheit**) and in moderate temperatures about 2 minutes and 32 seconds (moderate temperatures tested at 27 degrees Fahrenheit in the shade**). After those 2 times, they start using Hyper Flash as the smart IC will detect the bulbs are hot and go into sleep mode to cool the bulbs. This was also briefly explained to me by the SIRIUSLED people. When contacted they told me it will happen in about 2 minutes which is about right. I contacted them again to find a solution to this problem as I often find myself at intersections that take forever. Hopefully they can send resistors to help with this or something else that can either eliminate the heat issue or something that will keep the bulbs running for about 5 minutes. ordered a custom turn signal wire harness kit from an independent seller repairing hyper firmware. How it works is that it's basically a plug and play front driver and passenger kit that fixes all four corners. No cutting or splicing required, just plug and play. Hopefully this will eliminate the hyperflashing that occurs when the signal lights overheat. Will update when I test it. **Stay tuned guys** Update 4: Turn Signal Harness Results The plug n play turn signal harness I installed worked great. The lamp can basically stay on for more than 5 minutes, which I tested in a warm outside temperature of around 75 degrees Fahrenheit. I wanted to return them if the wiring harness didn't work, but luckily I liked the look and construction of the bulbs. .Update 5: Durability and functionality as of 10/17/2021 still functional
