Excellent with one exception

Overall I really like these bindings. They came with self tapping screws instead of nuts like many of these mounts. I've installed rivet nuts before and it wasn't the worst, but self-tapping screws were a lot easier. The brackets came with detailed instructions on where to put them on the door frame which was nice. I marked the spots and used a small hole punch to make sure the holes I drilled were where I wanted them and drilled a few pilot holes just to be sure. They are thick enough to be strong but not so thick that they can be maneuvered when installing the light bar. I also have 0 leakage issues when it rains. My only complaint is that they are slick where the bar attaches to them. Every light bar I've ever had has tabs that attach the bar to the brackets so it doesn't rotate after installation. So you can't stop your bar from moving and I can't tighten it enough to keep it straight. I put some rubber shims between the mounts and the handlebars to provide a grippy surface for now, but I need to find a more permanent solution as the rubber wears out over time.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
