nice combination. 1000 sharpens well and quickly. Glides easily, easy to clean. Polish 6000 works similarly. Feels so good you'll want to find a knife to sharpen. Used on my white steel knife and now it's razor sharp. Worked wonders with my cheap stainless steel too.
