I bought two of these pens. The first was bought at a retail store. I had to buy another one and noticed that this seller had a great price. When I first bought this mat my cats kept walking around it until they got used to the feel of the rubber on their paws. Now they are used to it. This works very well for catching extra gravel that gets in cats' paws. You can just shake it and the gravel will fall off immediately. It also helps catch accidents that happen to cats near the kitten box. This is a durable rubber mat.
