I bought this watch for my son who apparently has problems with the watch. He's a swimmer and even watches that were supposed to be waterproof end up leaking. This watch comes with two straps, black and red. The strap has holes so it's good for exercise, sweats a bit but not as much as a solid strap. The plastic is soft and conforms to your wrist without pinching your hair. The dial is easy to read - the time is large and clear. He likes the second countdown. We followed the instructions that came with it and had no problems setting it up. As a side note, it's really nice to have printed instructions in the box, which is why I often try to find them online and find that they aren't available. you accidentally hit her.
