Review on πŸ”Œ Powerful Makita XCV08Z 36V (18V X2) LXT HEPA Filter Dust Extractor/Vacuum - Tool Only by Kevin Graham

Almost perfect: power tools

I just got Bought the full version of the AWS system and I'm replacing almost all of my power tools with Makita. This extractor has some great points, but there are a few minor issues. The first thing that struck me was how small the extractor is. I think it's good, it's very portable. Just don't expect to fit a lot of sawdust in there. The suction power is noticeably lower than my corded vacuum cleaner. I thought this might be a problem but after cutting the sheet stock with a dozer saw there was almost no dust on the floor all day. I was impressed. And at the end of the day, the batteries were still almost fully charged and the suction was set to high. The picture shows all the dust that comes from a full day of sheet metal cutting. Big glaring issue that earned me four stars: I just bought a new Makita chainsaw, miter saw and docking machine. Each tool has a different sized dust bag, each with a different dust extraction adapter. It really lowers the comfort of the whole experience. I can't believe such a simple thing can be overlooked.
