Had to replace a valve on my trusty and very old tire compressor. After looking around a bit, I settled on this one. They look high quality and are easy to install on a 1/4" compressor hose. The valve fits 'well' to the hose and the clamps are the right size. Generally the installation was quick with no problems. Only suggestion The one I have is to make sure you position the pinch screw down or away from the valve lever.The valve itself worked perfectly on my car's tire stem with no loss of pressure when the valve was pushed in. There really aren't any downsides to these replacement valves.
