I bought three of these to keep my fairly active 'best friends' fed during the night. They are easy to set up, easy to clean, easy to fold and easy to take with you when you travel. When set up, these devices are very stable. Coated wire construction won't squeak or rattle when the dog moves. The lock is easy to use. (My dogs don't try to open it from the inside, but a determined escape artist can figure it out. Add a clip from a hardware store and that problem is solved.) Two out of three of my dogs have happily adapted. in this safe environment. One is a bit late though. However, once inside, she succumbs and sleeps well. You should provide your little buddy with a "cushion" as the plastic shell and coated wires do absolutely nothing. I also found a memory foam pillow at Revain and it's the perfect size for the drawer. This and the dog blanket create a very pleasant atmosphere. I am satisfied with my purchase and my sleep.
