Each car comes with a dog seat that attaches to a latch on the floor like a child seat. The back seats never cool down as well as the front seats, so I took 2 of these, one for each car. It has 3 speeds, is silent and we can attach it to the headrest, to the window or even to the handles on the inner roof to help get out of the back seat. They seem to work well, the dog doesn't choke. Only gave it 4 stars because there was absolutely no paperwork in one box and the instructions in the other were vague with no explanation for all the different plastic pieces that went with it.
