The fit is great, the material is comfortable.
I have read other reviews and they were mostly accurate. The most important thing is that I'm 10-12 years old and when I ordered the Large I was a little concerned that it might be too big - it's perfect, roomy but not too big. I carry my weight on my hips and it fits me perfectly. If you carry your weight on your stomach, the fit may be tight depending on this. The material is a soft cotton blend, hangs well and is very comfortable. The color corresponds to the photos on the internet. They are great for everyday use and I have ordered 2 more.
