I roll it up, tie it tight with thread and put it in the wash on the gentle cycle. The line is dry. It falls apart a bit after each wash and I sew it up to make it a little stronger.

Love the different weave patterns, the fun (but not overpowering) colors and the gathered tassels. The carpet is thick, soft underfoot and has a durable feel. We have a busy suburban family. So if we're really using the carpet for its intended purpose, the "spot clean only" maintenance record is going to be depressing.
