Can't decide what I started giving. The keys are exactly as described. When I went to the locksmith to have them cut, the locksmith had trouble fitting them properly and said it was because of the metal the keys are made of. Could be right or a bad locksmith

There were no problems with the buttons. I took them to the Chevy dealer and cut them out. Wal-Mart and the local hardware store had trouble getting keys to their cars, so I decided to go to a Chevy dealer. He had no problems. Keys work with no problems.

They still have to cut the keys which cost me a whole dollar each but I have 2 new Chevy keys which then what I searched and I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I liked the deal of getting two new keychains along with these two keys.

This is normal. I went to a real locksmith to cut them (small box) and he informed me that he has the best ones in metal. They have no metal under the plastic head and are notorious for breaking. Until mine broke.

The value of these keys is priceless. I bought this set because I only had one key when I bought my 2006 Chevy Silverado. Took these keys to make copies from the local locksmith for $5! The only problem the locksmith had was when I was trying to fit these keys into my truck because he noticed the gauges were different. Everything worked out perfectly, the keys were cut out in a few minutes. Good product!

I only bought these keys because of the butterfly emblem (I know). Overall a good third party replacement with factory optics. When copying I was told that the key blanks seemed to vibrate when using the track style copier (reason for 4 stars). Luckily for me I had them made by the same locksmith we use at our job who has multiple styling tools and key copying skills. Both the door and the ignition worked perfectly from the first shot.
