5ive Star Gear Military Backpack: Enhance Your Hiking Daypack Experience Review

I had seen the reviews for this bag so my expectations were already high but I didn't make it to the airport until the stitching on the shoulder straps detached. I haven't had a chance to test its strength yet. I hope I just received this bag that escaped quality control but at the same time I have to appreciate it. Another downside is the zippers, they are not as strong as I expected. Apart from the stitching, the bag is perfect, the material is 1000D, I liked the position of the MOLLE straps.

Robust, well-made backpack for a variety of uses. I use it for camping/hiking. Amazing stitching and durable material make it suitable for all the stuff I carry with me. I am happy with my purchase. The only exception that kept me from giving a 5 star review was the color. It is advertised as a Cayote and looks brown in the picture. I was looking forward to this as I'm not a fan of the tan tactile color commonly found in backpacks like this. It's not quite brown, but it's also not quite brown…

Received this just prior to leaving for a summer program abroad. Lasted a month of use. I use it everyday for classes, day trips to the beach, hikes and sleepovers. It comfortably fits my computer, DSLR and camera bag, laptop, textbooks, 1 liter of water and everything I need for the day. The simple three pocket design works great, I always know my bag is safe when I'm in crowds or on public transport. The extra straps were good, just tie down which is what I need for easy access.
