The LED strips look great. I needed a 4000K color and this was the only source I found with the color, LED size and density I wanted. The strips only came with a waterproof coating on the LED elements, which I didn't really want or need, but made installation difficult as I had to remove this sticky coating at each strip connection point. Update September 23, 2019 I have been contacted by my seller/manufacturer regarding a defective product. I am proud to report that the new Led coil I received this time is of much better quality. I will continue to use Scottsguard VHB or Extreme tape for installation due to the boat ride. One problem is that the LED strip was spliced together every 24 inches using very heavy solder joints. Good brightness, crappy tape. I'm making a waterproof fishing light. When I wrapped the LED strip around the inner tube I used extra E6000 glue because the included double sided tape sucks, I would never rely on that! For all my other projects where I need to attach LED strips, I use 3M (here: 3M (38583) 1/4).
