Genuine GM Part

Genuine ACDelco Parts. Surprisingly, it wasn't an e-core filter, but a regular PF-63 filter with a nitrite anti-drain check valve. Comes in new multilingual packaging and fits my 21 Suburban Z71 with no problems. For the price unbeatable.

Pros
  • ACDelco Genuine GM Parts are designed, engineered and tested to strict standards and backed by General Motors
Cons
  • Expensive

Too long for Holden vehicles

Replaces PF48, nearly double the power and length. For those with a GM Holden platform (Pontiac G8, Chevrolet PPV Caprice or Chevy SS) with L76, LS3 etc avoid as it hangs too low! Learn from my mistake - pick the right PF49 or M113 Mobil 1 or NAPA 47060!

Pros
  • Prevents abrasive particles from getting into bearings and other engine hydraulic components
Cons
  • Empty

Product number as shown in Revain photo.

I can't say if I was wrong. In the Revain photo, the filter label said "Professional" but the filter itself said "Original OEM Equipment" and "Made in China". The filter I removed from the car said "Made in the USA". Now I'm worried that it might be fake and might not have the correct bypass valve relief pressure or even the correct filter media. It's in the car right now so I can't return it, but I plan on replacing it with one I can verify is legal.

Pros
  • GM engineers develop and test genuine parts specifically for your Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac vehicle
Cons
  • old
