Works perfectly! on dog whistles

Never used dog whistles. Two barkers moved in with me last year. A tiny sound of that whistle will make her stop barking and run straight to me. Happened on the first try and has happened again and again since. It is magic!

Very low quality, best learning and behavior guides

Tried both whistles from the pack. Weak sound, you have to blow very hard and long to get an even sound. Better buy a football whistle. Our dog will come with a whistle but this one hesitates as if unsure what it is.

Not Loud Enough: Dogs

I don't think this whistle is loud enough. My guide is a horned whistle I bought a few years ago. The sound of this whistle was loud, sharp and clear. This whistle does not make the same sound. Maybe the noise is beyond my hearing. My dog seems responsive, but I haven't tried to remember from a distance yet.

Best thing I ever did was buy this pipe

And pair it with grilled lamb chops. This pipe must be in pairs. My purebred Jack Russell Terrier has an incredible hunting instinct. Squirrels, birds on the beach, courier at the gate. She WILL RUN BACK TO me AT FULL SPEED when I blow this whistle. About a squirrel or a bird? Are you kidding me? I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself. Wonder.

Great for border collie mixes

We have a problem with our border collie being territorial in her yard and barking at the neighbour's guard dog. At first she was afraid of the whistle when I tried it out in the training house (our other dog hated it too). So I made up my mind and waited until she started barking at another dog on the fence to check. It happened twice and both times she was recalled. Today she came back, wagged her tail and took a treat. Happy to have found it.

A good whistle, the dog hears it, stops, comes back - treats are also important.

I bought this to teach our dog to come back on command, something other than a voice that couldn't be ignored. So far, so good. Treats of the highest quality provide additional incentive. In contrast to the very quiet whistle, I hear the whistle very quietly, very quietly. But it is by no means easy to hear. A good pipe, for that kind of money, etc., I'm satisfied. They provide your own lanyard, so heck, attach it to a string or something. Happy with its performance and inaudible/audible range…
