This is a tough, durable acrylic with good magnets on the back. The magnets are small - they don't cover the entire back. Definitely strong enough to hold the frame to the fridge but not good for gluing other things under the frames when on the fridge. They look way better than flexible ones, which are a foldable sheet of plastic on top of a foldable magnetic sheet.

.because most of the photos of my fridge are in landscape format. I have 4 x 6 inch frames (portrait) but landscape photos tend to slip out after a while so I was glad to find them. They stick great on hard surfaces but remember they won't stick on uneven surfaces. I was hoping to use them on a stamped metal bulkhead as well (e.g. sheet metal ceiling panels) but they are too heavy to hold onto. It is in order; they do what they have to do.

These frames are perfect except for one important point: about half the frames in the package I received were so far after warped at the back that there was a very thin magnet in the middle The mog didn't touch the surface of my fridge when it was applied to it, so it didn't stick. This appears to be due to all the frames being packed into the magnetically aligned box, but there's nothing to push the plastic around the edges to keep it from warping.
