Do not buy - Company closed

I got this for Christmas and was very excited as I read a lot of good reviews. Now I feel robbed. The product has potential, but the Motiontrack software is outdated, the website is permanently broken, there are no drivers for Vista, no response from support, and no mention of the fate of the company. I'm a little overwhelmed that this product is still on the market as it will be a dead end for everyone.

  • No performance

Great idea but device not very accurate

Love the idea of audible alerts for distance, speed, calories etc while running. Unfortunately, I found the GPS tracking on this device to be unreliable and inaccurate. I ran a course of known distance and got mixed results in terms of mileage and speed on multiple attempts to use this device. My split times were everywhere too. Also looking at the maps on their website showed different locations. While I like the idea, I would not recommend this device until the GPS issues are resolved. I have

Like the trainer! The best in GPS, finders and accessories

I bought this product for Christmas and I have to say that even though it cost me $150 it is a great product. I love the fact that I can listen to music while continuing to use the fitness trainer. The software that comes with the fitness trainer is great. Not only does it track how many calories I burn, but also my pace and elevation along the way. The only problem is that the fitness trainer takes a while to find the GPS satellites, which is annoying when you're ready to get started. For $150

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great training guide!

Motion Lingo has a clear winner in GPS-based ADEO. If you're even remotely interested in tracking and recording your workouts, whether it's cycling, running, hiking, walking, or anything else, you'll benefit from this product. Individual sessions are recorded for download to your computer for local or online storage and analysis. The device itself is small and light, smaller than an iPod video. It is intuitive to set up and use, and you can adjust many variables, such as time, distance, and…

  • Overall Good, But...

I still like Adeo even though the company went out of business a few years ago. You can still get Google Maps to display your route with this hack. This is for PC users only. In Windows Explorer (or "My Computer") navigate to the root folder of drive C and select "File" -> "New" -> "Text Document". Name the new file "mlshowrawdata.txt". Then open it (in notepad) and just paste in some text. "Hello" is enough. The idea is to just create a text file with that name in the root of the C…
