At first I thought that the orange double threads near the laces were just for decoration. Oops, I was wrong! These are actually laces that are glued to the side of the boot where the laces go. So they get pulled and pulled every time my kid ties his shoelaces. Big shock as they broke one by one leaving the shoes in ruins in less than 3 weeks. It was a terrible adidas design. I wanted to love them. They look good and are perfect for a dress code, but the shoes aren't built to last. I bought them a month before school started and when my son used them we were past the return period which really sucks because they didn't work the first time he used them.
