AEM Intake Fits Air Intake

Product works great. Installation was easy and straightforward. The price is a bit high, but overall I'm happy with the purchase. But if I could do it again I would choose K&N because it's cheaper, does about the same thing, and I've found that the filter for my AEM air intake is actually a K&N filter. Great buy, but go to K&N if you really don't like the looks and full heat shield of this model. (This is similar to the luxury brand K&N).

Pros
  • Installation Type: Vehicle Specific
Cons
  • Not The Best

If you need power on spares

I installed this AEM 21-499P air intake system on my 2009 Nissan Altima 3.5SL. Over the past 400 miles I've noticed a significant improvement in "get up and go" along with a sense of increased power. Before the install I got 30-31.8 mpg highway and 26-26.8 mpg city. There was no improvement in fuel economy, but that may be due to not being able to keep my foot off the gas. In terms of cost, this was NOT a great investment for me, although the price was lower than anything else in the same…

Pros
  • Estimated power increase 6.0hp @ 5000rpm
Cons
  • Minor things
