This hose fits perfectly and is a lot cheaper than the original! To be honest I prefer it as the button is easier to press than the original which helps with cleaning. My grandmother had issues with a Dyson tube getting stuck on the handle and no amount of movement, adjustment or force ever seemed to solve the problem. It looks like the hose was stored too long and probably in a warm place. Two parts of it were deformed. So when we moved the extension / Handle down it didn't go smooth.It was tight due to two deformed spots.Let's see if it straightens out over time.The hose itself looked identical to the original.The material seems to be about the same caliber..wide removed from what we have Oh and there are no holes or open areas to reduce suction so it looks like we're ready to go :) Well I've tried.
