AFX FX-41 Large Safety Orange Helmet Review

I bought this ORANGE helmet to match my motorcycle. I took it for a week trip and as you can see the helmet is turning yellow which means no UV protection and considering how the sun affects the plastic I would say this is a poor quality helmet . Last picture of original condition ORANGE

Fits well, comfortable. The amazing airflow and tinted inner visor is a great feature. The quick release buckle on the chin strap is good and the color is clearly visible, so more secure. The only downside is that there is no quick connect for the visor; you have to unscrew it. Bit clunky to replace the visor. Other than that I would buy again.

The looks of this helmet are great, there's no doubt about that. It's pretty comfortable too. The size is questionable. If you're big in most other helmets, you can be average for this one. Seems more than I expected. If you do a lot of highway driving, buy another helmet or earplugs and clear goggles to wear underneath. Dust/dirt flies right through the floor. All in all a good helmet for the money if your mostly city/light trail riding.

I checked several helmets before buying this one. Firstly the color is much lighter which is nice, the helmet is very aggressive and comfortable, I wear a 7 1/2 cap and the size L fits perfectly, the sun visor doesn't go all the way up but I pressed it. a little and seems to be holding up well. The border of the visor distorts the view a bit, I think that needs to be adjusted. To be honest I haven't tried it on my bike but I've heard that this helmet is noisy, I recommend using earplugs. At…
