Description of 🏢 Enhanced Mobility with Aircast AirSelect Walker Brace/Walking Boot (Elite, Short and Standard)

Features a durable, semi-rigid shell that helps support the limb while providing full-shell protection. SoftStrike technology absorbs and dissipates shock, while the lightweight and lab-tested rocker sole combine to encourage a natural gait. Overlapping Duplex air cells line the shell providing intermittent pneumatic compression for 3-times faster edema reduction. Designed with a sleek, open-frame that provides ventilation; Non-marking, skid resistant rubber tread allows for greater traction and longer wear. Universal fit allows the Aircast AirSelect to be worn on either the left or right foot.

Perfect. - Medical supplies and equipment

I tore a tendon in my foot and ankle and it didn't heal until I got this shoe. I immobilized and wrapped him but he really needed a boot. I felt relieved as soon as I put it on. I'm 54 and heavy and the boot fits me. I have a medium size and a size 10 and it was good. Sometimes 10 inch shoes are too small for me. I think if you are a womens size 8-10 then a medium size will fit you. Some people as young as 10 said their toe comes out. You need to make sure you get all the air out before putting

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • I really don't like anything, everything is fine

Purchase a shoe lift for other insoles to support your foot and arch.

For heaven's sake please buy a lifter for the other leg. If you don't, you'll hurt your back and hips. The leg in this boot will now be a few inches longer. Also this boot will break your foot arch. The insole is completely flat. You should get insoles with good, strong arch support and some cushioning. Buy yourself a shiny pen to scratch your leg during the day. Eventually, the top of the cast will dig into your lower leg. Take a soft thick sock and wrap it around this area and then put on…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than the others

broken ankle? Buy It Now!

After pumping my ankle I have a bad sprain and fracture. I had an orthosis at VAER but it was too big and hurt when I put it on. So, hello Google and it brought me to Aircast. I read everything they had to say about their die cast walkers and soon found the Aircast Airwalker Elite. So I ordered it and 2 days later it was at my door. I couldn't imagine what it could do to help me walk. It's plastic, with multiple straps and foam inserts and air chambers. I'm a 250lb 6ft 2in guy, it wouldn't help

The perfect cast for a double ankle fracture!

I sprained and fractured my ankle in 2 places. My podiatrist advised me to try Revain for the cast as it will save me money. After some extensive research I decided this was the best option and I wasn't wrong! Two side air chambers ensure a comfortable and secure fit. The fact that the controls are on the side instead of on the front as on other models makes the knee carriage easier to operate. You can take off the shin pad for better sleep. There are replacement liners that I highly recommend…

The boot is easy to put on and take off.

I broke my left shin on holiday and had to remove my ankle for 6 weeks - no surgery! My podiatrist advised me to buy long boots after he removed the splints (hard/soft cast). I had a cast 3 weeks ago and needed boots for another 3 weeks. I work in the healthcare industry and I know quite a bit about what to look for in boots. Comfort and support are among the most important. I looked at other Walker orthoses and found that this one made the most sense with an air pump on both sides. I have to…

But does the job. - Medical supplies and equipment

I broke my leg about 3.5 weeks ago. Since this is America and not everyone has insurance let alone the cost of medical care with or without insurance I did not seek medical advice so I decided to purchase a cast instead. I mean it helps a lot with walking, but there are a couple of serious downsides. I'll start with the positive. The shock absorbers are amazing. I can walk without much pain and much faster than with a cane. My foot does not swell while wearing what is most uncomfortable…

WOW! Amazing Pain Relief and Comfort!

Wow! Should have gotten this sooner! My husband has had Achilles tendon problems for a while. He went down the stairs wrong and the tendon was injured where it attaches to the heel bone. It was just unbearable for him to leave. We've tried shorter braces, ice, heat, ointments and more. I finally convinced him to try this walking wrap as it was obvious that the injury needed to be immobilized in order to heal. He didn't want to do it because he didn't think he would be able to do what he needed…
