I bought this bracket along with 4 other types with a base that attaches to the wall. This was the only quality product, the rest was flimsy and defective. I have one of them on a pole and the other on a tree. So far, so good. Not sure if the plastic is weathering or deteriorating. We will see. so far so good after a few days.

You can twist it around a tree but the heavy part where the camera is attached just falls off. The worst thing is that the camera doesn't stay in place. It can just turn upside down. The back is not fixed. I thought I ordered two packs but I received one so check the fine print. But I'm still sure it must have been two or even three. I have already started the return. upset

I don't recommend it as the XT camera cannot stay attached to the mounting clip that attaches to the back of the camera. If your camera is exposed to any outside elements, there's a very good chance you'll find it on the ground soon, as I've experienced on a number of occasions. After a few drops I tried the tape around the camera port, felt more secure, but fell off the mount again two days later. Try something else instead, or stick it to the mount with silicone, maybe that works as long as…

Please note the feedback that the part of this device that attaches to the Blink XT(2) camera IS NOT SECURE AT ALL! The slightest bump will cause the camera to turn off and fall. Luckily mine fell into a flower bed and not concrete. While the mounts that come with Blink cameras are woefully inadequate, they at least hold the cameras securely in place unless you tilt the camera all the way left or right.
