Alpinestars Men's Motorcycle Gear: Performance and Style Combined Review

Good quality, a little hotter than my similar Fox top. The protection is better but I have a small belly (not too much) and am about 5ft 9 and 185lbs. I ordered an XL and it is very tight and I can barely pull it over my stomach. For the big ones, be aware if that's not a problem then it definitely offers good protection.

Fits perfectly, almost without noticing. I avoid devices that limit my movement or burden me. I've only worn it in cold weather so far, so I don't know the ventilation properties yet. Managed to clear it without damaging the torso so it worked. Please note that they are small. I bought the XL and it is comfortable. Usually between L and XL for t-shirts.

I am very happy with this purchase and I give it 5 stars. Good ventilation and renewal in case of premature failure of areas. Every other piece of clothing I wore had an accident and only partially worked. I'm 5ft 9in, 162lbs and the plus size fits me perfectly. My second choice was Fox but I've read too many reviews about breakable zippers.

This jacket is a joke. I got it for Father's Day. I installed it twice. Once to try on and once to go for a walk. The sleeve has an opening from where the velcro pulled the material. So much for protection. I figured buying one at this price would be better than the $40 ones here. Better with one of these. THIS IS ALPINESTAR quality.

The jacket is well made and offers a good level of protection. However, the size is small. I'm 5'9' and weigh 183 pounds. I ordered a large size but had to return it as it was too small especially around the chest and hips. I have ordered a larger jacket (XL) but it has not yet been delivered. I will post a new review once I have a larger size.

I've only been wearing it for about a month and it's already starting to fall apart at the shirt's power supply. I contacted Alpinestars customer service and they told me that this was "user wear" and therefore they would not do anything about it. It definitely helps keep you cool when it's hot to drive, but there are better options out there that are worth your money. It should also be noted that it is quite difficult to clean.

I'm a beginner but this shouldn't be sold as protection or at least highlight its weaknesses. IF forearm guards weren't listed I would choose a product that does. I broke a rib in this product as there is no protection at hand and I ended up on my side. I bought these for protection, but even in the rating there are no protection stars, only comfort, freedom of movement and value for money. Why would anyone buy this without protection?
