Amana Tool 46102 K Enhanced Spektra Extreme Review

The cut was very clean but it broke in half on the first day of use. I replaced it for 1/3 the cost, the cut wasn't that pretty but it never broke! This may be suitable for fine blanking CNC work but not for circular cutting hardwood countertops!

Wow! I have a ShopBot 4'x8' CNC router that uses a Porter cable router as the spindle. I usually use Onsrud bits, but read a post on a CNC forum about using coated bits. So I bought a few to try. This coated Amana bit is priced comparable to the uncoated Onsrud bit. On my first flight I cut 17 sheets of 18mm plywood, each sheet into multiple pieces. There is NO deterioration in the cut and the bit looks like it just came out of my sleeve. Fiction!

was purchased for circle routing on a plunge router, after two cuts was noticeable wear, I only cut materials 18mm - 23/32, always do three passes, at 1/4 depth. This has been my routine job for 5 years, all other attachments took about 4-6 months. wrong choice, nobody answered. I bought another similar piece from them, I might try this one too.
