Excellent results for wall lights

I installed 8 of these recessed lights under kitchen cabinets (various sizes from 14" to 32"). I replaced old fluorescent lights that were ugly and drooping. I had the benefit of the old lights being pre-wired and connected to the wall switch, so I connected one on each side of the sink/window to the house wiring and then daisy-chained the other 3 on each side of the outlet. main units. Additional 6" sockets that you can buy are ideal for this purpose. At the same time I replaced the original…

I would not buy again!

To quickly summarize: Pros: Easy to open and change bulbs since the bezel is magnetic Sleek design, very low profile Cons: Difficult to assemble, holes are almost as thick as the block and they drag don't turn down at all. They must be drilled with a cobalt drill. I cut the wiring inside while drilling and also scratched the block itself. If you punch a hole in the left rear corner (facing the block) it will be difficult to seal all the wiring back into the block to close the cover. There are…

Great headlights but one complaint about the installation.

As a contractor I have installed these lights in 6 different kitchens and have always been happy with them. They are so thin that they always disappear under cupboards. I usually wire to each cabinet as needed and then connect them all to the same dimmer. Although each light has its own high/lo switch, my customers have always loved the idea of controlling them all with a single dimmer. Different sizes fit any closet layout. The only complaint I have is that the knockouts (round disks that have

Great color, low profile and full blackout. Better LED anytime.

I love the color and flat design of these lights. Installation wasn't a big deal. Because they are low profile, there isn't much room in the chamber for extra wires or pigtails to extend electrical cords, so be prepared for that. The magnetic window that blocks the light is a nice touch, but it takes real skill and work to close properly. It closes easily, but I found that on all 8 of my lights on the left it doesn't close properly and lets light through. It takes a bit of play to get it 100%…

Beautiful light for money

I bought two of these lights (and two of the 14 inch lights) for a newly renovated kitchen. The electrician has already laid the necessary daisy chain cabling. These lamps are very beautiful and thin. Pros: Slim design and low/high adjustment via switch. Easy installation with screws pre-installed in grommets to hold in place. This was a very handy design feature, allowing you to hold the flashlight with one hand and screw it into the bottom of the cabinet with another. To change the lamp, the…

Well designed, easy to install

American Lighting Fixed Wire Base Xenon Cabinet Well designed, slim (7/8 inch high) making it easy to hide, easy to install and connect is in series with the Priori connection cable (sold separately). The light cover closes with a magnetic catch that is much more secure than the spring catch American Lighting used to use on halogen lights under cabinets. There are a couple of issues: First, the thin profile (7/8 inch) does not allow the romex connector nut to rotate, so it is necessary to hold…

Super thin and good quality

There is no shortage of reviews for this product. This is a very good product. The quality is high. I installed three of these under cherry kitchen cabinets. They are attached with two screws. My advice is to ditch the cheap screws that come with the box and buy two good quality wood screws. This will make installation much easier. The information on the difficulty of removing plugs for direct wiring is correct. This is PITA and I used a dremel to soften them and make them easier to remove. The

Overview + some installation tips

These bulbs look great, they're nice and bright and you can't beat the price. The color temperature is just right, warm but not too yellow. They warm up moderately, like all xenon and halogen lamps. The installation instructions are definitely written for professionals - i.e. you are pretty much on your own due to a lack of information, so here are a few tips based on my setup. four small protrusions that should snap off if you try to knock them out, but (of course) they don't. If you have a…
