Genuine deal on Tie Down Straps

bought these to replace mine which still works but is showing its age - 40 years old! The Anca ties still seem to be of the same quality as the originals and definitely worth the price!

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Repair

Excellent belt so far

Not used for a long time but so far they work very well. They are similar to other belts I've had for years. This type of strap works very well with heavy loads, does not slip.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old one
Cons
  • Useless functions

Built to last Best for motorcycles and weightlifting

I have about 8 of these and they must be at least 15 years old and working like new. If I were to add more hauling gear to my trailer I would not hesitate to buy this Ancra again! Thanks

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Lightweight and best held on motorcycles and weight sports

Ankra ties are easy to clip on and easy to let go, but they hold. They are just as good as my 25 year olds that have been borrowed and not returned. I would suggest that after the initial adjustment "tight enough" you re-tighten by further tightening. It does not hurt.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Great for protecting a large bike

Bought them over 4 months ago and have used them several times since. They did a great job attaching the front of my Yamaha FJR1300 to a motorcycle trailer (along with padded straps on the lower triple clamp) for a 2000 mile round trip to Colorado in July and back. I tested them several times on the trip and they never had to be adjusted. For many applications I prefer them to ratchet straps. Ancra is the best example of this type of belt that I have seen.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I'll write later

Great bike mounts

are worth the price (fairly competitive at Revain with cheap no name brands) I've had many mounts over the years, have had some cheap no name units and Ancra units she survives them all. I still have a set from my childhood (20+ years old) that I used to tie my motorcycle to my truck. I wouldn't bother with any other brand, these are the best. The material they are made of is excellent and the clamp does not come off without effort. There's a reason they've been around for so long!

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Not exactly the same.

I did 4 Ancra tie down when I was road racing between the ages of 25 and 40. 40 YEARS AGO! I had eight pairs but when your buddy asked for a pair to be used at the track his $4 pair broke again! they somehow become their own! The price is quite high, but think about how much your product costs! Whether it's your $35,000 Harley, $4,000 lawn mower, or $4,000 snow blower, no competition! The only issue I had was US 'assembled' imported or US parts. I bet the woven strap is an imported part as it…

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Good but not great
