After about a year the clipper started to get very noisy. I tried optimizing based on manual recommendations but it didn't help much. For about two years they began to work in it sporadically. I had to change the trimmer to keep it working. All the recommendations in the manual didn't work, and about 2 1/2 years ago this thing just died. Considering I only used the clipper once a month I am very disappointed in the performance of the product.

Bought to replace another Andis clipper. The clipping combs tended to fall off. Combs for the master have magnets on the bottom. You insert the combs and the lower part is magnetized on the clipper. This is an expensive item and requires a lot more maintenance than other clippers when it comes to lubrication.

Got it in the mail today, decided to try it on a client. Halfway through the cut there is a strange noise, I realize the bottom blade is loose so I unscrew the main blade and the bottom one pops out, then I realize the pin holding it is kinda broken . AS IT literally happens right in the box, luckily I have a spare Wahl pair of scissors but DO NOT BUY, never buy any other Andis product

Had to replace the clippers Husband said after his technique was stolen we ordered it came pretty quickly and he used it straight away with no problems I'm sure can it's safe to say we love it, we definitely love the magnetic shields

A little startled when I saw the reviews about getting used to clippers. My clippers arrived and I saw that the tabs on the box were also open. To my relief, I found that my typewriters didn't leave hair or fingerprints anywhere. I went on and missed zero and had no problems. My new favorite clipper in my arsenal as I have magic clips and fast feeds. They will get a little warm after long-term use. I ordered a cool grip for her so we'll see if that helps. Don't be afraid to buy them on Amazon.

Works well but after a few uses it got very noisy. I have to wear earplugs to cut my hair or someone else's hair. Appears to be cheaply made. I would not recommend it.
