Andis UltraEdge Clipper Blade 64079 Review

I have 6 schnauzers - 4 standard, 1 mini and 1 giant. I really struggled to find the right blade to cut through her thick fur with my new Andis clippers. This blade is finally doing everything but their butts and eyebrows. Very happy! Once I was lazy and didn't wash them beforehand - they still cut like butter!

This worked so well with my curly goldendoodle. Her hair had turned cream, although she was puppy red. This blade really brought out the color of her hair and made it easy to cut through thick hair. You still have to cut out the big tangles with scissors but I was able to trim most of her hair with this awesome blade. My Andis clipper came with a 10 blade, which I use for her legs, stomach, neck, etc.

We use these #5 clippers on our Schnauzers and think they're perfect. They quickly slip under the second thick layer and cut the thick layer very comfortably and smoothly, very quickly. You save time compared to ready-cut scissors and deliver very good results. I've read reviews warning users to be more careful with cleaved blades.
