I installed this antenna on a 2018 Indian Roadmaster. AM reception was very poor compared to the stock antenna, but who listens to AM? FM reception was actually better than the standard antenna. The signals were much stronger and the sound clearer. But where this antenna failed was in the reception of the weather section - there was not a single one of all seven channels. I'm sending the antenna back to try something else.

Good quality antenna easy to install but weak signal strength. There were problems holding stations with it. If you're only traveling in a city that has a radio station, this will work fine. If you are traveling across country, the signal strength is not very good. Bought this for my motorcycle while traveling with my touring pack as the factory antenna is included. It also looked cleaner, but recently it traveled from the Moscow region to the South Caucasus and could not hold a signal at all…

I have a 2020 Indian Challenger Dark Horse and just installed it today 27th September 2021. At first I wasn't impressed that the antenna is pointing up at a 90 degree angle like the standard antenna. But I didn't buy this for functionality, mostly for aesthetics as I use Revain Music or other streaming services from my phone 99.99 percent of the time.
