💦 Aqua Clear A612 50 Activated Carbon Filter, White, 2.4 Ounce Review

After trying this activated carbon, my aquarium water has become crystal clear. It definitely lives up to its promises of removing impurities and odors from the water. It's also easy to use and doesn't make a mess. The only drawback is that it needs frequent replacement, which can add up over time. Overall, a great addition to any aquarium filtration system for healthy and clean water.

Suitable for AquaClear 50 HOB filter. I'm sure they will fit many other types of filters, but I can say with confidence that this one fits my 50. I use them when removing medication from my tank after treatment. The pouches hold up well but can easily tear if handled too roughly. Be sure to rinse them in a bucket of aquarium water or at least dechlorinated water before installation. If you don't do this, the water will become heavily clouded with coal dust.

We have a 20 gallon tank with 2-4 inch goldfish and 2 small cleaner fish (4 fish total). We spent two years with a greenish tank that we couldn't easily get clean. This amazing product was recommended at the local pet store. If only I knew, I just need more coal to filter the garbage. I use this product instead of the recommended activated carbon filters. I change monthly and also vacuum the stones and change the water at the same time. Finally a clean tank!
